Easy peasy pizza.

Dear reader,

Thank you all for your comments on saving money on food shopping. You have really got me back in the zone. I have been spending too much on food and need to cut back to my £50 a week budget.
Thanks especially to Sara http://afrugalwife.blogspot.co.uk/ who has sent me some great ideas about meal planning.

Big man fancied pizza last night so I made the dough. It's so easy and we used BBQ sauce as the base topping instead of tomato with chicken, mozzarella, onion and peppers.

A bit misshapen but tasted great.

Have a great day.

    1. Hi Shara,

It looks a bit brown but its the BBQ sauce. It was nice and the base was thin and crispy, just how we like.

    1. Hi Emma,

I know you do a lot of really good meals on your budget. I am hoping you will set up a blog and publish them, they looked good when you sent me a list before.

Re a menu plan - I don't usually do one, but if you like I can keep a record of what we eat this week and then do a blog post about it to give you some idea of how I keep the budget so low.

    1. Hi Jen,

So so easy, I will post the recipe. Basically flour, yeast, oil and water. Made loads and it keeps in the fridge for upto 2 weeks. Will post it tomorrow.

    1. Hi Jo,
Recipe posted today. Very easy, don't worry about leaving it to rise if you don't have time. Do try it and let me know.

  6. Looks good, I know that I am a day behind blame the sewing, I do not bother to do 2 provings on pizza dough, make it, knead it well and roll it out, prick it with a fork and leave for 20 minutes before topping and baking.

    1. Hi Pam,

I wish I could sew, I'd love to make a quilt. I have made it without proving too and it was fine. Have a good day.
