Dropping in with weigh in.

Dear reader,

Work as usual is hectic. I can't turn down the hours though as the money is good.

Weight loss is better then I hoped with a weigh in for me of 13 stones and 13 pounds.

5lbs loss so far.

How are you all doing?  I have just been making small changes and not snacking.

Good luck and have a great week, looking forward to weekend off.

Utterly frustrated - despite riding bicycle and eating cottage cheese and NO BREAD AT ALL some days, a busy'social' weekend with church teas etc means I am still stuck at same weight as last 2 weeks. Must find a diet book for 'wives of clergy who are required to sample parishioners scones and fairy cakes'. Or maybe write my own.

  2. Weighed in yesterday and I've put a lb back on, but I'm not surprised. I've been bad this week. Not watching what I eat,( chips TWICE and a fresh cream chocolate cake), I'm just grateful It wasn't any worse. Next week will be better! I'm now 15st 10lb, but next week WILL be better.

  4. Well done you, especially as you have been working such long hours. Often I eat less if I am really busy, but then again, at other times I do nothing but pick! I am now hanging my head in shame as I have not really got started with this challenge. Life is really unsettled, lots of unplanned (but essential) expenditure, uncertain work situation both long and short term, as well as the general day to day niggles and generally too much to do and not enough time are not helping. No don't get your violin out, as I should just get on and deal with all this stuff - need a kick up the backside, not a shoulder to cry on!! I hope everyone else is having a more successful time than me and look forward to their results.

  9. Hallo all, and well done to those of you who have lost. I am back where I started (I am ashamed to say, but not surprised). I think having such a great start (5lbs loss through being ill the first week) made me complaisant and I expected to lose weight subliminally! In any case, my heart wasn't in it. But hoping to get back on track this week and have better news to report next week. Cheers. Anna
