Dear reader,
0545 am,muggy morning here. Got up at 4am as next doors dog was barking and as we had the windows open it woke me.
Since blogging late last year, the advice, tips and ideas you share is amazing. I have learned so much, recipes, money saving and plain common sense. Today I have questions for you and need your expertise.
1. Can anyone tell me how to see my latest followers?
Mine just seem to add in anywhere and I can't see who is new.
2. My breadmaker doesn't seem to have just a dough setting. Do I just take it out when it beeps? Apparently the beeping marks the stage when you can add other ingredients.
Hello to my new followers. It's always lovely to have new people.
I have to get going for work now so look forward to your comments when I come home.
See yesterday's post for a giveaway prize.
Much love
FIB. X
I go to 'Dashboard', click on the blue text 'followers' and the newest are at the top of the list. That is the best I can offer. I don't know of anywhere that shows the 'date joined'.
ReplyDeleteCheers....B
I'll be interested in the answer to the followers question as I have the same issue!
ReplyDeleteHi FIB
ReplyDeleteI thought they added in order, so if you look at your page the first avatar is the latest. Is that not the case then?
Bread machine - I'd suggest letting it do the first knead, and the first rise, then take it back at the knocking back stage. That seems to be the point that most dough cycles go to. Can't answer question 1 though!
ReplyDeleteNew bloggers are usually added at the beginning ie top left if the have a picture or the first of the shadow if they havent- well thats how they are on my blog anyway. Maybe not the same everywhere?
ReplyDeleteCan't answer either of those questions sorry :-( You're right the follower thing doesn't add chronologically. I find it difficult to track what's going on with subscribers in Feedburner too. My breadmaker has a dough setting so can't help there either!
ReplyDeleteI think you need to go into layout and move things around, that is how I set my blog up and i was stumbling in the dark. I would go with Robyn on the bread maker unless you want to add stuff, then take it out at the beep and add the bits and just knead by hand. I make my plain bread dough in my stand mixer and just use the breadmaker for fruit and special breads.
ReplyDeleteGo to the "template" button at blogger and click "add a gadget" at the top right menu. There you select "More gadgets" and click on "Followers" which should be the last gadget on the first page. Click it and it will be added to your side bar and show you which blogger users are following you.
ReplyDeleteAs for you second question, my machine has a dough setting too so I can't help too much. Just look inside the machine and see if all the flour, water, salt etc. has been mixed together and take it out before you see it start baking. Unless of course you want it to rise first. In that case you will need to figure out whether the dough is supposed to rise once or twice in the machine and then take it out. If you have an electric mixing bowl it would be better to simply throw everything in there and mix it up.
p.s. when you add the "Follower" gadget, the most recent followers will appear first.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if your bread machine does or not -- but mine has a manual that tells me at what time in the cycle it starts to do things. If yours does you could just take it out before the second rise. If you don't have a manual you might could find one online.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the followers == I'm lost on that.
